Qualified Nursery Practitioner Level 2/3
Location: Croydon (West Wickham)
Salary: £28,500 to £31,075.
Contract: Full-time, Permanent.
We are recruiting on behalf of our client who is looking for a fantast ic full-time Nursery Practitioner opportunity available for an enthusiastic and versatile Level 2 or Level 3 qualified practitioner in our nursery in Croydon.
Responsibilities of the Level 2/3 Nursery Practitioner:
- To act as a key worker and provide care for a small group of children
- Using your knowledge of the EYFS, help plan daily activities and provide suitable play and learning opportunities
- To write learning journeys for your key children and contribute to room planning
- To ensure children develop and learn in a safe, stimulating and supportive environment
- To monitor children s progress and share information about their development with parents and carers
- To carry out all duties associated with caring for your key group and supporting the daily nursery routine
What we re looking for:
- Level 2 or Level 3 Childcare Qualification (required)
- Experience is essential working with children aged 0-5
- Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework and safeguarding practices
- Excellent communication skills with children, parents, and colleagues
- A warm, nurturing approach with a genuine love for supporting children s development
- Previous experience working in an early years setting
- The right to work in the UK
