Our client is a highly respected design and manufacturing business with over 25 years of success supporting customers across the globe. They’re known for their quality, attention to detail, and outstanding customer service. Due to continued growth, they’re looking for a Shipping Coordinator to join their Customer Support Team on a temp-to-perm basis.
This is a brilliant opportunity for someone with solid admin or logistics experience who’s confident coordinating with internal teams, external partners, and freight forwarders. If you enjoy problem-solving, building strong working relationships, and delivering great service, this one’s for you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate directly with Sales, Parts, and Service teams to ensure timely delivery of parts and equipment
- Generate packing lists, delivery notes, and Proof of Export documentation
- Liaise with freight forwarders and agents to arrange collections and ensure accurate customs clearance
- Monitor and track orders, flagging delays and updating relevant departments
- Manage documentation and logistics for returned items in collaboration with the Goods In team
- Ensure internal systems are kept up to date with accurate shipping records and order progress
Key Skills and Experience:
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation
- Good understanding of Incoterms and Chamber of Commerce processes
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Confident using Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and CRM systems
- Experience generating or processing export documentation
- Previous use of Sage, SAP, or similar systems (desirable but not essential)
