Our client is the UK market leader in charging cables and consumer electronics accessories, known for their innovative design, strong retail partnerships, and ambitious international growth plans. As they continue to scale in the UK and across key EU markets, they’re now looking to hire a Senior Demand Planner to take ownership of demand forecasting and inventory planning, supporting their supply chain strategy during an exciting phase of growth. This is a pivotal, hands-on role focused on delivering robust demand forecasts, optimising stock levels, and improving cross-functional planning processes through S&OP. It’s ideal for someone with strong analytical skills, a collaborative mindset, and a passion for building best-in-class planning practices. Key Responsibilities: • Work closely with the Head of Supply Chain to develop and implement inventory planning strategies that optimise stock levels and reduce excess inventory • Lead demand forecasting processes, using historical data, market trends, and business intelligence to improve accuracy and responsiveness • Analyse data to refine forecasts, reduce shortages, and mitigate excess stock risks • Build and manage the S&OP process, ensuring alignment between sales, operations, and finance teams • Facilitate collaboration with sales, marketing, production, and supply chain teams to ensure shared understanding and forecasting accuracy • Monitor and report on key KPIs such as forecast accuracy, inventory turnover, and supply chain efficiency • Identify and address risks associated with demand variability, developing mitigation strategies to enhance agility • Champion the use of best practices, tools, and analytical models to scale supply chain operations internationally Key Skills and Experience: • Strong experience in demand planning, forecasting, inventory management, and S&OP processes • Excellent analytical skills with expertise in forecasting tools, statistical modelling, and inventory systems • Confident collaborating cross-functionally and building strong relationships with sales, marketing, production, and finance teams • Ability to work independently, think strategically, and solve complex supply challenges • Experience with planning and forecasting tools and advanced Excel skills • Organised, detail-oriented, and proactive approach to problem-solving • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field Additional Information: • Office-based role in Banbury – Monday to Friday • Salary of £50,000 – £55,000 DOE • 25 days holiday + bank holidays • Pension and company benefits package To express interest in this role, please send your CV.
