An excellent opportunity has become available for a Junior Project Manager to join a growing and dynamic organisation. This varied role involves supporting and managing projects from initial handover through to completion, ensuring successful delivery while maintaining high standards of client service.
Working closely with internal departments, suppliers, contractors, and clients, you will coordinate resources, manage project requirements, monitor budgets, and help deliver projects safely, efficiently, and on schedule. This position combines office-based planning with regular site visits and offers an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in events, exhibitions, or a similar project-driven environment who is looking to further develop their career in project management.
Duties & Responsibilities- Manage projects from handover through to successful completion.
- Coordinate resources, logistics, equipment, and personnel to support project delivery.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors.
- Monitor and manage project budgets and expenditure.
- Support project planning, costing, and commercial activities.
- Oversee subcontractor and labour requirements on allocated projects.
- Ensure compliance with relevant health and safety standards and best practices.
- Attend project sites as required to support operational teams and client handovers.
- Previous experience or knowledge within the events, exhibitions, project management, or related sectors desirable, not essential.
- Strong organisational and time management skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Full driving licence and willingness to travel as required.
Monday - Friday (37.5 hours) Hybrid working after probation/training period 20 days annual leave, plus bank holidays.
