Our client is a successful small business who work with organisations across the country, supporting their customers with all areas of IT desktop and telecoms support.
Your role will be to provide remote desktop support to users over the telephone, email and via remote access. This support could be in areas such as:
- Resolving general IT/computer issues such as network connectivity (LAN/WAN) on desktops, laptops, routers, printers etc.
- General peripheral support.
- Issues of slowdown/crashing.
- Support with telecoms equipment.
Providing excellent customer service and working to a fixed first time mentality. This is a varied and interesting role, with no two days the same! We are therefore looking for someone who has previous experience of providing IT Desktop Support to 1st/2nd line level, and is a natural team-worker.
There is no requirement to hold a qualification in IT as training will be provided, but you would need to have an interest in IT technology as well as practical experience of connecting and managing PC networks in a workplace.
This is a great opportunity as there is room for progression into a field-based infrastructure engineer role in the future!
