Our client are a leading manufacturer of consumer electronics products who have developed a leading-edge UK brand. They are now looking to recruit a full-time Design Manager, to lead on all company brand design projects and oversee a small creative team at their HQ in Banbury. This is a cross-disciplinary role that blends product design with graphic design to ensure that products, packaging, and digital presence are cohesive, trend-forward, and commercially successful. You will oversee all aspects of design from concept to execution, including e-commerce assets, social media visuals, packaging, product roadmap design, and retailer presentations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Product Design - lead a small team of creatives across the design of consumer electrical/electronics products, defining the brand identity of the product portfolio.
- Graphic & Brand Design - Take ownership of the visual identity to ensure consistency across all brand touchpoints/channels, including; e-commerce platforms, social media, email marketing, packaging and POS.
- Product Roadmap - Translate product pipelines into compelling visual roadmaps and design timelines. Providing design concepts for future product categories and seasonal launches.
- Team Leadership - Oversee a small team of designers, review all creative output and collaborate across all internal teams.
Skills & Experience Required:
- Proven design experience in both product and graphics (digital and print) for both B2B and B2C markets.
- Retail packaging design experience.
- Highly proficient user of Adobe Creative Suite as well as 3D product design software (desirable).
- Some understanding of digital marketing best practice when used for e-commerce platforms.
- Team Leadership/Staff Supervisory experience.
- Keen interest in current consumer trends in the tech space would be extremely beneficial.
