Salary: £28,000 – £31,000 (depending on experience)

Hours: Monday – Friday 9-hour rotational day shifts

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an organised and proactive Logistics Coordinator (Day Shift) to join a leading time-critical logistics operation in Coventry. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-moving transport environment and enjoys coordinating urgent freight movements across Europe and internationally.

Working within a highly professional logistics team, you will play a key role in ensuring transport schedules are managed efficiently, customer expectations are exceeded, and operational deadlines are consistently achieved. Duties & Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and manage time-critical logistics solutions across Europe and worldwide
  • Ensure transport schedules and delivery deadlines are met efficiently
  • Work closely with the Team Leader to maintain best practice across operations
  • Monitor European driving regulations and transport restrictions to support effective route planning
  • Escalate transport delays and operational issues promptly, providing suitable resolution options
  • Maintain strong working relationships with carriers and supplier management teams
  • Identify and communicate gaps in carrier coverage to support operational continuity
  • Ensure carrier non-conformances are accurately recorded and escalated in line with quality procedures

Education & Skills Required

  • Previous logistics or transport coordination experience is desirable
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Good understanding of European transport operations and regulations preferred
  • Problem-solving skills with the ability to manage operational challenges efficiently
  • Additional language skills would be advantageous

Working Hours

Monday - Friday, 9 hour day shifts with an hour for lunch (totalling 40 hours per week), rotating shifts based upon the following patterns:

  • 7am to 4pm
  • 8am to 5pm
  • 9am to 6pm
  • 10am to 7pm
