Duties & Responsibilities
- Design and develop innovative electronic circuits and systems to enhance existing products or solve customer challenges
- Create detailed and accurate circuit board layouts using industry-standard design software
- Conduct testing and diagnostics using test rigs and electronic equipment
- Interpret and communicate complex technical designs in a clear and accessible manner
- Collaborate with internal teams, customers, suppliers, and subcontractors
- Support software development and implement modifications based on client requirements
- Work with electronic components including resistors, capacitors, transistors, and integrated circuits
- Ensure compatibility across hardware and software platforms, including mobile and laptop systems
Education & Skills Required
- Degree in electronics, computer engineering, physics, mechanical engineering, or a related field
- Strong foundational knowledge of electronics engineering principles and electrical interfaces (e.g. CANopen, Ethernet, Modbus)
- Previous experience in an engineering or technician-level role
- Proficiency with circuit design tools such as Eagle or Atmel Studio
- Excellent analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of subsea operations and control systems (advantageous)
