Duties & Responsibilities

  • Design and develop innovative electronic circuits and systems to enhance existing products or solve customer challenges
  • Create detailed and accurate circuit board layouts using industry-standard design software
  • Conduct testing and diagnostics using test rigs and electronic equipment
  • Interpret and communicate complex technical designs in a clear and accessible manner
  • Collaborate with internal teams, customers, suppliers, and subcontractors
  • Support software development and implement modifications based on client requirements
  • Work with electronic components including resistors, capacitors, transistors, and integrated circuits
  • Ensure compatibility across hardware and software platforms, including mobile and laptop systems

Education & Skills Required

  • Degree in electronics, computer engineering, physics, mechanical engineering, or a related field
  • Strong foundational knowledge of electronics engineering principles and electrical interfaces (e.g. CANopen, Ethernet, Modbus)
  • Previous experience in an engineering or technician-level role
  • Proficiency with circuit design tools such as Eagle or Atmel Studio
  • Excellent analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of subsea operations and control systems (advantageous)
