An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Electrical Engineer to join a growing and technically focused engineering team. This hands-on role involves assembling, wiring, testing and inspecting a variety of hydraulic, electrical and electronic products to high quality standards. The successful candidate will work closely with production and engineering teams to ensure all assemblies are completed accurately and efficiently in line with technical drawings and ISO9001:2015 procedures. This position would suit someone with previous experience in electrical or electro-mechanical assembly who enjoys working in a fast-paced engineering environment and is keen to continue developing their technical skills.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Build and test hydraulic manifold assemblies, electrical assemblies and related components to engineering drawings
  • Carry out mechanical, hydraulic and electronic/electrical assembly work in line with internal procedures
  • Read and interpret mechanical and electrical drawings, wiring diagrams and test instructions
  • Perform testing of manufactured products using specialist test rigs and equipment
  • Complete PCB wiring and soldering activities where required
  • Ensure components are cleaned, inspected and free from contamination or defects prior to assembly
  • Complete production documentation, certificates and data entry using Sage 200 systems
  • Support general warehouse, delivery and housekeeping duties while maintaining high safety and quality standards
Education & Skills Required
  • Previous experience within a similar electrical, electro-mechanical or engineering assembly environment desirable
  • Ability to read and understand assembly drawings and technical instructions
  • Good knowledge of electrical and mechanical assembly techniques
  • Computer literate with strong attention to detail and quality control awareness
  • Flexible, organised and capable of managing changing priorities effectively
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
