An exciting temporary opportunity is available for a People & Culture Administrator in Banbury, supporting a busy team for approximately four weeks. Working three days per week, with flexibility around which days, you will provide essential HR administration, recruitment administration and People & Culture support in an office-based environment.

This role will suit a highly organised administrator who enjoys working in a fast-paced setting, managing multiple priorities and maintaining accurate records. You will support recruitment activity across a high volume of vacancies, coordinate key pre-employment and onboarding processes, and help ensure the wider People & Culture function operates efficiently. It is an excellent opportunity to build further experience within HR, recruitment and people administration while making an immediate contribution to a busy team.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day administrative support to the People & Culture team, responding to routine queries and assisting with wider team requirements.
  • Support recruitment administration for a high volume of vacancies, including advertising roles and maintaining accurate recruitment information.
  • Coordinate interview scheduling and related recruitment administration to support an efficient candidate journey.
  • Arrange and monitor pre-employment checks, including DBS checks, ensuring relevant processes are completed accurately.
  • Assist with new starter onboarding and the preparation and processing of People & Culture documentation.
  • Support the administration of training and development activities across the organisation.
  • Maintain accurate employee and recruitment records, ensuring confidential candidate and employee information is handled appropriately.
  • Contribute proactively to general HR and People & Culture administration, helping the team manage competing priorities effectively.

Education & Skills Required

  • Previous experience in general administration, HR administration or recruitment administration; strong general administration experience will also be considered.
  • Excellent attention to detail, with a methodical and accurate approach to administrative work.
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and competing priorities.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills, combined with a professional and approachable manner.
  • Confidence using Microsoft Office and administrative systems, with good general IT skills.
  • Previous HR or recruitment administration experience would be advantageous, alongside the ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
