About the Role
We're looking for a personable, organised and commercially focused Account Manager to take ownership of an established portfolio of customers within the professional hair industry.
This role is based in Southam and due to the rural location, you must be able to drive.
This is a varied opportunity combining account management, customer service and sales, where you'll become a trusted point of contact for your customers, understand their individual business needs and identify opportunities to strengthen and grow each account.
You'll take a proactive approach to relationship management, following up opportunities, developing customer accounts and recommending relevant products, services and training.
With responsibility for your own pipeline and customer portfolio, this role offers genuine autonomy alongside the support of a collaborative team.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Manage and develop a portfolio of customers, building strong and lasting commercial relationships.
- Act as the main point of contact for customer requirements, enquiries and ongoing support.
- Proactively identify opportunities to increase sales, retain customers and develop existing accounts.
- Identify opportunities to introduce additional products, services and training based on customer needs.
- Prepare, issue and follow up quotations and commercial proposals.
- Take ownership of your sales pipeline, customer follow-ups and account development activity.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer information and activity within the CRM system.
- Collaborate with colleagues across the wider business to deliver an excellent customer experience.
Education & Skills Required
- Previous experience in account management, sales, customer service or business development is advantageous.
- B2B customer-facing or commercial experience would be beneficial.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trusted relationships.
- Commercially aware, confident and comfortable identifying opportunities to generate additional business.
- Highly organised, proactive and able to take ownership of customer accounts, pipelines and follow-ups.
- A positive, customer-focused approach with the drive to learn, develop and build a long-term career in account management and sales.

- Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm
- Fully office based
- Must be able to drive and have reliable transport due to the rural office location in Southam.
