We are now delivering our 2024–27 Corporate Plan and are seeking a Non-Executive Director to join our ambitious Board as Chair of the Audit & Assurance Committee. We are looking for an experienced strategic leader who is familiar with audit and assurance programmes and who can contribute to our forward-looking committee. You’ll bring the skills to challenge financial judgments, ask the right questions, and provide external insight into wide-ranging audit and assurance matters.
While a formal financial qualification is not essential, you will bring strong financial literacy and a clear understanding of a Board’s governance and legal responsibilities. Experience in social housing is not required, although you will have executive or non-executive experience in a regulated sector and the strategic insight to support a £100m turnover organisation with a £650m asset base. The time commitment is around two days per month.
