Your Role
Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will coordinate the full lifecycle of project shipments, including import, export and cross-trade movements. You will be responsible for order acceptance, file opening, planning and scheduling transport solutions, arranging collections and bookings, and coordinating closely with overseas offices, carriers and subcontractors to ensure safe, compliant and on-time delivery.
You will act as a key point of contact for customers, providing regular track and trace updates, arrival notifications and handling enquiries, exceptions and urgent deliveries professionally. The role also involves liaising with customs partners, managing subcontractor performance, supporting the sales team with quotations and operational input, and ensuring operational systems and processes are followed correctly.
This role suits someone with experience in projects in freight forwarding, ideally with exposure to out-of-gauge, breakbulk or heavy-lift cargo, who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about delivering operational excellence and outstanding customer service.
