YOUR ROLE
Are you ready to take ownership of a busy healthcare focused depot operation? At CEVA Logistics, we are looking for a Warehouse Manager to lead day to day operations at our Leeds site. This is a hands on leadership role where you will ensure compliance, safety and operations while managing a dedicated team assisting in delivering supplies to hospitals and care homes. This is a Monday - Friday role, 09:00 - 17:30 with some flexibility required.
WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?
- Reporting into the Depot Senior Manager, you will be overseeing daily depot operations across 2 key contracts, managing resource, compliance and safety standards.
- You will lead and support a team of office staff, drivers and warehouse operatives.
- Supporting the team in managing coordinated routes, driver schedules and support for the depot’s mixed fleet.
- Additionally, you will ensure proper handling of temperature controlled stock and managing van operations.
- You will monitor performance metrics, drive continuous improvements and act as the first point of contact for customer and operational requirements.
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
The ideal candidate will have proven experience in managing a depot or warehouse operations within a small to medium sized site. You will have proven experience demonstrating strong leadership skills and the ability to step in and provide hands on support when required. A solid understanding of compliance and safety standards in logistics is essential, along with HR experience to manage staff and handling of the day to day people matters. Having obtained your 0 Licence is desirable however not mandatory, we welcome candidates from other sectors who bring transferable skills and a proactive approach.
