We have an exciting opportunity for an Art and Design Technology Technician to join our dedicated Art, Design and Technology team.
You will be responsible for the day to day provision of technical support to the Art and DT Departments, including:
- Preparing a range of materials for teaching purposes including paper, pencils, wood, metal, plastic, food and textiles.
- Constructing teaching aids using basic workshop skills.
- Issuing equipment to staff and pupils and maintaining appropriate records.
- Providing technical advice and assistance to teaching staff and pupils within the curriculum area including support for learning.
Appropriate qualifications in Art, Design and photography are required. We can offer you supportive and friendly colleagues, and good professional development. We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expect all staff to share this commitment. The successful applicant will be required to be DBS checked prior to taking up post.
