Due to a busy project, our client is looking to take onboard a QA Analyst Contractor for 2 to 3 months. Experience and qualification in this area is a must.

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Test Planning: agreeing testing requirements and approach; writing test scripts for specific scenarios; validating the change delivered against requirements.
  • Test execution: executing test scripts; documenting test activities in Test rail / Jira; reporting test activities.
  • Ensuring components and features are tested, and behave in a consistent manner, reviewing and analysing.
  • Raising, triaging and managing defects within our internal management system.
  • Implementing and maintaining test cases.
  • Quality focused and with a commitment to best practice.
  • Excellent communicator with the ability to describe complex subject matter to internal and offshore teams.

Skills:

  • Experience testing web, desktop and/or mobile software.
  • Manual Testing.
  • Ability to prioritise based on project demands and risk.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to write clear test conditions / cases & analyse.
  • Knowledge of manual test techniques - test rail or equivalent.
  • Technical skills: Confluence, Jira, Java, Python, Power BI, Soap UI, SQL.
  • Working in phases of the test delivery life cycle including creation of Test Strategy / Plan documentation.
  • Test Governance, Design, Estimation, Defect Triage, Defect Report, Execution, Test Progress Reporting and Test Closure.
  • Android and iOS familiarity & understanding of APIs.
  • Websockets.
  • Backend databases.

This Contract role is for 2 to 3 months initially with a possible extension. You will be required to attend the office. Salary circa £225 to £300 per day depending on experience and PAYE or LTD.
