- Supporting funding, reporting, and financial control processes

Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Reporting & Analysis
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual management reports
- Analyse budget vs actuals and explain variances
- Provide insightful financial commentary to leadership
- Budgeting & Forecasting
- Develop and track budgets and forecasts
- Support funding monitoring and financial planning
- Funding & Revenue
- Invoice funders according to grant agreements
- Track funding changes and support implementation
- Ensure Gift Aid and tax claims are accurate and timely
- Financial Control & Compliance
- Perform reconciliations (bank, VAT, payroll, suppliers)
- Support audits and ISO compliance
- Maintain financial policies and procedures
- Operations & Process Improvement
- Maintain asset register and monitor procurement
- Oversee purchase/sales ledger and supplier reconciliations
- Identify and implement process improvements
Skills & Experience Required
- Essential:
- Qualified Accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA)
- 2+ years post-qualified experience
- Strong management accounts and budgeting experience
- Good understanding of VAT
- Advanced Excel / Microsoft Office skills
- Desirable:
- Experience with Xero
- Charity sector experience
- Payroll knowledge
