A fantastic opportunity has opened up for a Qualified Management Accountant/ Cost Accountant at our clients site in Newcastle.

A crucial role within the Finance team, you'll be the go-to person for preparing, developing, and applying financial analyses to support informed decisions across the business.

Key Responsibilities:

Monthly Management Accounts:

– ?Site lead for submitting monthly management accounts to Europe & Corporate

– ? Support Controller with forecast/budget process 2 sites.

– ? Finance Business Partnering to provide insights that drive better business decisions

Operational Support:

– ? Weekly/monthly management information on operations performance

– ? Stock reporting, reconciliation, and control

– ? Main contact for standard costing information and annual updates

– ? CAPEX proposal assistance and product costing analysis

Financial Integrity:

– ? Completion of Balance Sheet Reconciliations

– ? Identifying financial control issues and documenting new processes

– ? Maintaining compliance with Sarbanes Oxley risk control matrices

Continuous Improvement:

– ? Engaging in opportunities to improve finance and business processes

– ? Supporting ad hoc projects with Reporting Manager and UK Controller

Skills Required:

– Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

– Advanced Excel skills and strong ERP/Manufacturing systems knowledge

– Strong inter-personal skills for cross-functional interaction

– Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines

– Manufacturing experience; HFM and SAP experience desirable

– Fully qualified CIMA/ACCA

– Ideally 5 years manufacturing experience

The role may involve some unsocial working hours due to tight reporting deadlines, and occasional travel within the UK and abroad.
