Responsibilities
- Provide in‑class support to learners, helping them access the curriculum, stay engaged, and develop effective study skills.
- Work alongside teaching staff, adapting learning materials and supporting individual and small group activities.
- Promote an inclusive and safe learning environment, monitor learner progress, offer encouragement, and assist with personal development.
- Provide holistic assistance for students with SpLD and support students in accessing welfare services.
- Support students to successfully complete and achieve in their learning.
- Follow college policies and safeguarding procedures.
Qualifications
- Professional, hardworking, and confident team player experience working with students with SEND.
- Experience working with students with Specific Learning Difficulties (SpLD) is desirable.
- Good communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
- Relevant qualifications or experience in learning support or related field (e.g., Teaching Assistant, Disability Support, etc.).
- Right to work in the United Kingdom.
