Plumpton College is seeking a dedicated and motivated Learning Resources Coordinator to join our Teaching and Learning Team. Reporting directly to the Director of Quality, Teaching & Learning, this role manages the College Library and Learning Resources, ensuring that physical and digital resources are of the highest quality for students and staff. The Coordinator will enhance independent study experiences and digital literacy.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the effective operation of the Library and Learning Resources, creating a welcoming study space for all students.
- Procure and manage resources; respond to inquiries in line with the Library Service Level Agreement.
- Maintain an accessible collection that meets curriculum demands.
- Collaborate with the Digital Learning Team and academic staff to promote IT services and deliver training to ensure users can access library resources efficiently.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Essential: experience in a library or educational resource environment; knowledge of cataloguing systems; solid understanding of digital learning tools.
- GCSE English and Maths at grade C or higher.
- Strong digital skills, particularly in MS Office.
- A library qualification and experience in further education settings are advantageous.
