English & Sparkling Specialist Fables and Company, own and manager a number wine bars Plume in Covent Garden, Finch in Brixton, Finch Hideaway in Brixton & Quill in Borough Yards. We are looking for an experienced, unique and driven individuals to join the team in a full and part-time positions as front of house and bartender members of the Plume & Quill Wine Bar in Covent Garden & Borough Yards.
You are excited by wine & food, hospitality, storytelling, sustainability, and continuing to build upon a strong, confident team. But above all you are a team player who can work in a team and create long lasting stories for our customers.
Responsibilities
- You will be responsible for providing bartending service making drinks, cocktails and serving wine in our Borough Yards Bar.
- You will take ownership of a small but very busy bar and will have an opportunity to develop our cocktail/drinks offering
- You will quickly learn our evolving range of cocktails, quality wines and foods in order to help our guests make informed /different choices and have a great experience
- You will live and breath our ethos and values when communicating with our guests
- You will become a member of our friendly, team who work to deliver a quality service and positive atmosphere
- A positive, welcoming, confident attitude is a must have
- You will be keen to learn and develop yourself
Skills
- Previous experience in cocktails/bartending
- Knowledge/ an interest in wine, especially sparkling wine preferred
- Fluent in English
What We Offer
- Pay package hourly rate of £13.85 & share of tips
- 20-35 hours per 4-5 day working week, 2-3 days off, evening work during the week and all day shifts during the weekend. No late night shifts, bar closing at 11pm
