Plumbingforce have a full-time vacancy for Domestic Gas Engineer/Plumber covering Brighton & surrounding area for plumbing and gas heating engineers.

We are a national plumbing and heating firm and offer an emergency call-out service regarding plumbing and domestic gas related appliances to include but not limited to:

  • Gas Boiler breakdowns and fault finding
  • Gas Boiler servicing and general maintenance
  • Landlord gas safety checks
  • Emergency water/gas leaks
  • General gas heating and plumbing problems
  • Some installation work but 95% of jobs will be repairs/maintenance

Appointments are booked by the office team and clients are billed an hourly rate for all services. You would be responsible for offering an excellent service for the customer and quality workmanship, ensuring all work meets MI's and current regulations. You have a full team who support your day-to-day workload, including managing appointments and assisting you should you require it.

The position is offered with the following:

  • Full-time role, long term for experienced Domestic Gas engineer/Plumbers
  • Company vehicle and fuel card provided (although option to use your own vehicle too)
  • Company uniform
  • You would be covered under company insurance and gas safe registration
  • Friendly and pro-active team
  • Ongoing support in the form of auditing and training
  • Excellent levels of work and high earning potential

Requirements to be considered for the plumbing and heating engineer position:

  • Must have a minimum of 3 years experience in domestic boiler breakdowns/fault finding
  • Must hold valid gas qualifications (CCN1, CENWAT1, CKR1 etc)
  • Must have a valid UK driving license
  • Must have own tools such as hand tools, drills and calibrated analyser
  • "Can do" attitude, working with honesty and integrity
  • Good knowledge of the unsafe situations procedures and correctly following procedure on AR/ID situations if encountered
  • Must use own phone for work
