The Role
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Wealth Operations Specialist with experience in pensions and investments including SIPP, ISA and GIA transfers, to join our Wealth Operations team. In this role, you will be supporting the day-to-day operations of the team and you will be supporting our customers to make the most out of their investments with Plum.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Be the go-to escalation point for specialised technical queries or high-risk items
- Work on complex cases, resolve escalations, complaints and exception cases that require product or regulatory and quality assurance insight
- Support customers and internal teams by providing answers to queries regarding the ISA product
- Maintain and have ownership over Operational Product Processes & Guidelines
- Collaborate with our third-party-providers to ensure fast processing of transfers requests and resolve customer queries quickly.
- Ensure that all processes are mapped and documented, spot inefficiencies and process improvement opportunities and work out a plan to make it happen.
- Deliver training sessions and support onboarding of new team members including Senior Analysts, Analysts and Administrators
- Cascade and deliver process improvements to the team.
- Work closely with Product and Tech to drive automation of reporting, transfers, payments etc and work on improving internal tooling
- Support the Investment Operations team with the day-to-day task of Plum\'s other wealth products (GIA, SIPP, ISA, ETFs etc.)
- Processing the back office operations for SIPP transfers (in/out), including allocations and payments
- Have experience administering SIPP transfers.
- Have good knowledge of pension regulations and reporting requirements
- Have working experience of the CASS rules, particularly CASS 6 & 7
- Have experience of cash and stock reconciliations
- Have strong attention to detail and a commitment to working collaboratively
- Have experience working in a back office function of a FinTech business
- Are self directed and can take the initiative
- Have deep commitment to ethical conduct and regulatory compliance
- Are willing to come into our central London office 2 days a week
