The role
Do you love a good spreadsheet but love a happy customer even more? At Plum, we believe in "Money that saves itself". Behind every great automated experience is a brilliant CRM Manager making sure it’s clear, simple, and jargon-free. We’re looking for a technical whiz to join our team and lead high-performing lifecycle campaigns. You’ll help our customers navigate everything from their first savings to their long-term Plum Pension, ensuring their experience is always "steady, safe, and stress-free".
- Help shape and run the CRM strategy in line with Plum’s growth and retention goals
- Own key parts of the customer lifecycle (onboarding, engagement, retention) and look for ways to improve them through segmentation, personalisation, and automation
- Plan, build, and send CRM campaigns across email, push, and in-app; keep calendars on track and make sure everything goes out clean and on time
- Work closely with design, product, and content to land clear, effective messaging
- Handle QA and ensure campaigns meet brand and compliance standards
- Use CRM tools day-to-day (Iterable a plus), build automated flows, triggers, and audiences
- Partner with engineering and data to improve integrations, tracking, and data quality
- Track performance (engagement, retention, LTV, churn), run A/B tests, and use data to improve what’s working
- Keep customer communications relevant and useful, using insights to guide targeting and channels
- Work cross-functionally and share results in a simple, clear way while juggling priorities in a fast-moving setup
Requirements
- Experience in CRM, lifecycle marketing, or customer engagement roles
- Strong technical proficiency with CRM platforms and marketing automation tools
- Experience with Iterable is highly desirable
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to turn data into actionable insights
- Data-driven mindset with a focus on measurable impact
- Solid understanding of segmentation, targeting, and personalisation
- Good stakeholder management and communication skills
- Customer-first mindset
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
