About the Role
We are recruiting on behalf of our client for a motivated and detail-oriented Sales Order Processor to join a friendly and collaborative team. This is a varied and fast-paced role, ideal for someone who enjoys working across customer service, sales administration, logistics coordination, and operational support. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of customer and sales operations, working closely with internal teams, customers, and external partners to deliver an excellent customer experience from enquiry through to order fulfilment. We are seeking someone who is organised, proactive, adaptable, and confident managing multiple priorities within a busy environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Customer Service & Sales Support
- Deliver excellent customer service from initial enquiry through to order fulfilment
- Act as the main point of contact for customer enquiries via phone and email
- Process customer orders accurately and efficiently
- Handle incoming telephone calls and customer enquiries
- Build strong working relationships with customers and internal teams
- Liaise closely with other departments to ensure smooth operations
- Monitor and support sales and operational reporting activities
- Prepare courier and shipping documentation where required
- Administration & Operations
- Resolve stock and shipping queries in collaboration with internal teams
- Manage invoicing and maintain accurate operational records
- Ensure customer enquiries are responded to promptly
- Maintain daily order sheets and internal trackers
- Prepare weekly sales figures and reports
About You
Essential Skills & Experience
- Previous experience in a customer-facing, customer service, or office administration role
- Excellent organisational skills and strong attention to detail
- Confident communication skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels
