Executive Assistant Maternity cover – starting beginning of November – 12 months Location: Solihull (Office based) Salary c£45,000 – £48,000 + excellent benefits + 25 days holiday + 3 days Xmas Our client is a well-established and very successful global organisation. They have offices in the UK, Paris, Stockholm & Dusseldorf. We have a fabulous opportunity for commercially minded, proactive and driven individual to support The Head of Europe and the Senior Management team. This will involve carrying out a broad range of EA duties including event management. You will be making a valuable contribution towards achieving the business objectives and driving the business forward. The role will entail: • Providing PA support to the Director and his direct reports • Organising, planning and executing corporate events, product launches, roadshows and entertainment • Preparation and organisation of extensive travel and accommodation • Diary management and co-ordination for the Management teams • Organisation and preparation for meetings, taking action points and following through • Co-ordinating monthly reports, budgets and group presentations • Oversee external communications to the UK customers to ensure consistency and that brand standards are met and reinforced. • Being responsible for the day to day running of the office including ordering consumables and being the “go to” person who gets things sorted…. We are seeking someone who: • Sees the bigger picture and will engage and familiarise themselves with the European team and operations • Work with people across the business to identify what works well and what needs improving, making recommendations to the Management team. • You will have excellent organisational skills, great attention to detail as well as lots of initiative and the ability to multi task and prioritise. • Strong IT skills and Microsoft skills, including excellent Power Point skills. • There will be some travel involved to the European offices and a Language (Ideally German) would be useful although not essential. It is an intrinsic role within the business and needs someone who is both proactive and perceptive, with exceptional people skills. The ideal candidate will be educated to Degree level and be a driven, confident individual who has previous experience in all of the above, supporting at Director level…and of course, first class communication skills. You will be comfortable working with people at all levels and from all offices, as you will be in a pivotal role….and an ambassador for the company.
