We have an exciting opportunity for a Buying Assistant to join a dynamic team and support the purchasing function within a thriving company that is going through an exceptional period of growth. Ideally you will be a Graduate who has a high standard in numeracy and excellent communication skills. Someone who is seeking a career rather than a job and keen to learn procurement.
Key Responsibilities:- Using an internal system, placing orders and forecasting
- Setting up stock transfers between depots
- Looking at competitor price comparisons
- Setting up new lines and resolving any Supplier/Logistics queries
- Ideally a Graduate with good numeracy skills, someone who is diligent with good attention to detail
- Strong Administrative skills, organised with excellent I.T. skills
