The Role: We are seeking an experienced and strategic leader to lead our Investment Operations teams, including Brokerage Operations and Wealth Operations. You will lead the development of new operational capabilities to support our product and business growth and transform existing operations through automation and process optimisation. In addition, you will act as a business leader in partnership with our Product teams to drive the overall investment proposition and deliver commercial outcomes for the business.

Your key responsibilities:

• Lead and manage operational teams to maximise staff engagement and productivity.
• Build teams that actively optimise processes and solve customer problems.
• Work with internal teams and third parties to significantly increase the automation rate and enhance customer service outcomes, developing your own tools and/or agents and taking a market leading approach to operational transformation.
• Build the capability to resolve operational and technical incidents promptly and to support Engineering squads to identify and address root causes.
• Develop new capabilities to support Plum’s growth, including in tax wrapper management and breadth of investment offerings.
• Drive commercial outcomes for Plum’s investments products, in partnership with the Product team and the Advice teams, designing and delivering initiatives to improve product adoption, cross-sell and retention.

Who you are:

• Have experience working in fintech.
• Have experience in UK retail investment management.
• Have managed operational teams.
• Have experience driving commercial outcomes in retail financial services.
• Have a proven ability to work with AI tools and to deliver operational efficiencies.
• Happy to work independently and flexibly within a fast-moving environment.
