The Team & The Role
We are looking for a highly driven Financial Adviser to join our Wealth team. We provide the clients, the technology, and the platform. You provide the empathy, the expertise, and the coaching to help our emerging and mass affluent clients optimise their financial futures.
What You Will Do
- Provide Tech-Enabled Advice: Deliver high-quality, video-first financial guidance and advice to Plum’s mass affluent customer base, focusing on wealth accumulation, tax wrappers (ISAs, Pensions), and goal-based planning.
- Convert Centralised Leads: You will not need to build your own "black book." You will consult with highly engaged, pre-qualified Plum users who are actively seeking human advice to take their investments to the next level.
- Shape the Wealth Roadmap: Act as the voice of the customer. You will collaborate directly with our Director of Wealth Strategy, Product and Engineering squads to refine Plum’s wealth offerings, ensuring our digital journeys complement your human advice.
- Ensure Best Practice: Maintain the highest standards of FCA compliance, utilizing our proprietary tech stack to generate automated, accurate, and highly personalized suitability reports without the traditional administrative drag.
What We Look For
- Qualified: You hold your Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning (DipPFS or equivalent) and possess active or recent Competent Adviser Status (CAS).
- Experienced: 2 to 5 years of experience in wealth management or financial planning. You have a proven track record of managing a high volume of clients efficiently, ideally within a digital or hybrid wealth environment.
- Tech-Native: You are completely comfortable conducting your business via video link and have an intuitive grasp of digital onboarding, CRM management, and financial modelling tools.
- Empathetic Communicator: You can demystify complex financial jargon and speak to emerging wealth clients in a way that is accessible, reassuring, and engaging.
