Role Overview: We are seeking an experienced Solar Project Manager to oversee the end-to-end management of our Solar PV installation projects. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in commercial solar PV installations and will be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- End-to-End Project Management: Oversee all phases of Solar PV installation projects, from initial planning to final handover.
- Stakeholder Management: Communicate with stakeholders, including management, clients, and regulatory bodies.
- Project Scheduling, Budgeting & Resource Management: Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
- Resource Allocation: Manage resources effectively, including budget, personnel, and equipment.
- Design Confirmation & Client Collaboration: Work closely with clients and the design team to confirm final project designs.
- Subcontractor Management: Select, onboard, and manage subcontractors to ensure project requirements are met.
- Documentation: Prepare and manage all necessary project documentation.
- Budget & Deadline Management: Ensure projects are completed within budget and to all deadline requirements.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Health and Safety Compliance: Ensure the project complies with industry standards, government regulations, and environmental policies.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Extensive experience in project management within the solar, renewable energy, or electrical industries.
- Proven track record of successfully delivering solar PV projects on time and within budget.
- Experience in delivering projects that require electrical and civils construction services.
- Strong understanding of Solar PV system installation processes and technologies.
- Proficiency in project management tools and software.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
- Strong leadership, organisational, and communication abilities.
- Knowledge of health & safety regulations and compliance requirements.
