We are seeking a proactive and knowledgeable Domestic Renewables Sales Consultant to join our team. This role is focused on converting customer leads into sales by understanding their needs and providing tailored renewable energy solutions. You will play a key role in supporting customers through their transition to renewable energy, with a particular focus on maximising the government’s Boiler Upgrade Scheme (BUS) grant for heat pumps.

As part of a dynamic and growing team, you will manage customer interactions, provide expert technical advice, and ensure a smooth sales process for our heat pump and solar solutions. You will work closely with the sales triage team to qualify leads and optimise conversions. This hybrid role requires a minimum of three days in the office.

Key Responsibilities
  • Proactively manage and convert customer enquiries into sales opportunities.
  • Provide expert advice on heat pumps, solar PV, and battery storage solutions.
  • Assess customer needs and recommend tailored renewable energy solutions.
  • Collaborate with the sales triage team to qualify leads and improve the sales funnel.

About You

We are looking for a motivated individual with a strong technical background in renewable energy and a passion for sustainable solutions.

Qualifications & Knowledge:
  • GCSEs (or equivalent) including English and Maths.
  • Strong understanding of renewable energy technologies, particularly heat pumps, solar PV, and battery storage systems.
  • Familiarity with government grants such as BUS and ECO.
  • Awareness of UK regulations, incentives, and policies related to domestic renewable energy.
Experience:
  • Proven experience in sales, ideally within the renewable energy sector.
  • Strong understanding of heat pumps, solar PV, and battery storage solutions.
  • Experience using CRM systems to track leads and sales performance.
  • Ability to explain complex technical concepts in a clear and engaging way.
