Join our experienced and collaborative team as a Technical Conveyancer. In this role, you'll focus on the technical side of conveyancing – title checking, raising and reviewing purchase enquiries, and supporting colleagues with complex matters. Rather than managing your own caseload or handling direct client communication, you'll provide essential technical expertise across a variety of files, ensuring accuracy and consistency while enjoying a better work/life balance.

What You'll Do:

  • Quality check purchase enquiries and send to sellers' solicitors
  • Review and send purchase reports to clients
  • Sign off title for purchase files
  • Support Case Handlers with complex sale enquiries
  • Ensure client and introducer service standards are met for excellent feedback and repeat business
  • Fully utilise the case management system
  • Prepare required conveyancing documentation in line with policies
  • Work towards agreed KPIs set by your Team Leader/Head of Department
  • Assist the department with other duties as required

What We're Looking For:

  • Minimum 5 years' experience as a Conveyancer managing a complex caseload
  • Strong technical knowledge of conveyancing transactions with extensive experience in title checking and raising purchase enquiries
  • Experience at senior conveyancer level
  • Excellent attention to detail, strong organisational skills, and the ability to prioritise effectively
  • Good IT skills with experience using a case management system (Proclaim preferred)
  • A conveyancing qualification (desirable but not essential)
  • Passionate about delivering great service and achieving results

What You'll Get in Return:

  • No client-facing responsibilities – you'll focus on technical work rather than handling day-to-day client communication.
  • Better work/life balance – you won't be carrying your own files end to end and can avoid the pressure this comes with as well as having the flexibility of fully remote working.
  • A supportive, structured 3-month onboarding programme that consists of in person training for one week, followed by a gradual build-up of hands-on technical work, with the support of a remote buddy - giving you the tools, confidence, and hands-on support to thrive from day one
  • Study support options (employer-funded after 12 months) and ongoing training
  • Varied workload – exposure to a mixed bag of transaction types; freehold, leasehold, New Build and more complex cases.
  • Long-term development opportunities and progression pathways into senior roles
  • 22 days holiday (rising to 25) + Bank Holidays, with buy/carry over options
  • Employee benefits: healthcare plan, death in service, EAP, counselling, and salary sacrifice
  • Extras: free conveyancing, mortgage advice, staff discounts
