Conveyancer / Case Handler – New Build Team Location: Teesside, TS18 3DB (office-based for first 3 months, then hybrid: 2 days office, 3 days WFH) Hours: Full-time, Mon–Fri, 9:00–17:00 Start Date: ASAP (flexible) Salary: up to £30k base + competitive uncapped bonus (£8-10k+ p/a once established) Join our supportive, sociable and ambitious New Build team as a Conveyancer. You’ll manage your own caseload from instruction to completion and build relationships with clients and developers – with tailored support, bonus schemes that reward your results, and the work-life balance of hybrid working. What You’ll Do: * Manage a caseload of New Build transactions from start to finish * Provide guidance and updates to clients, developers, introducers & agents * Draft contracts, reports, completion packs, statements & invoices * Maintain systems and third-party portals (we use Proclaim) * Build lasting relationships with referrers through excellent service * Oversee completion day logistics * Work to exchange and revenue targets with a focus on five-star client feedback What We’re Looking For: * Experience handling/supporting conveyancing transactions * Must have hands-on experience with: * Source of Funds checks (reviewing bank statements, conducting checks directly) * Searches and sale enquiries (confident in writing up reports, not just ordering) * Strong communication and relationship-building skills * Excellent telephone manner – confident in explaining the conveyancing process to clients and building and manging relationships with developers * Organised, detail-oriented, and solutions-focused * Familiar with case management systems (Proclaim a plus) * Passionate about delivering great service and achieving results What You’ll Get in Return: * A supportive, structured 3-month onboarding programme that combines classroom/MS Teams training with a gradual build-up of real-life casework – giving you the tools, confidence, and hands-on support to thrive from day one. * Competitive quarterly bonus: our case handlers typically earn an average of £8-10k once established, bonus is uncapped and based on your personal performance * Study support options (employer-funded after 12 months) and ongoing training * Long-term development opportunities and progression pathways into senior roles * 22 days holiday (rising to 25) + Bank Holidays, with buy/carry over options * Employee benefits: death in service, EAP, counselling, and salary sacrifice (tech, nursery fees, gym, cycle, car) * Extras: free conveyancing, mortgage advice, staff discounts Why PLS?
