The Role

This role offers outstanding graduates and early-career candidates the opportunity to begin their career in data analytics within a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment. You’ll work primarily within our Data Analytics team, while also gaining exposure to Data Engineering and Data Science through cross-functional projects. You’ll help produce and analyse the datasets that underpin Evident’s benchmarks, research and client products. Over time, you’ll build strong analytical and technical skills, while developing a deep understanding of how AI adoption is measured across the world’s largest financial institutions. You’ll work closely with analysts, data scientists and engineers across the business, helping translate complex datasets into actionable insights for both internal stakeholders and external clients.

Examples of the work you’ll be across:

  • Index Production & Analysis: You’ll support the production of the Evident AI Index and related datasets, helping ensure data quality and consistency across our research products.
  • Dashboarding & Insights: You’ll help create dashboards, analysis and visualisations that support business decision-making and client insights.
  • Data Quality & Validation: You’ll perform quality assurance checks on datasets and help improve internal data processes and documentation.
  • Cross-Team Rotations: You’ll have opportunities to work on projects with our Data Engineering and Data Science teams, gaining exposure to automation workflows, machine learning projects and data infrastructure.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: You’ll work with teams across the business to understand data needs and help deliver analytical outputs that support research and commercial objectives.

Core Skills:

  • 2026 STEM graduate or 0-2 years experience in analytics, research or a data-related role.
  • Experience working with data using tools such as SQL, Python, Excel or Google Sheets.
  • Strong quantitative and analytical problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail, particularly around data quality.
  • Comfortable communicating insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Proactive, with an eagerness to take ownership and learn quickly.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Comfortable working collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
  • An interest in AI, data and emerging technologies.

Nice to have:

  • Experience with data visualisation or BI tools such as Tableau, Looker Studio or Power BI.
  • Exposure to SQL, Python or cloud data platforms such as BigQuery.
  • Experience working on research, analytics or consulting projects.
  • An interest in financial services sectors such as banking or insurance.
  • Personal, academic or internship projects involving data analysis or visualisation.
