As a Business Development Associate in London, you will be part of one of Klarna’s Partner Success Teams, helping grow and maximize value across our UK business. You will support the Business Development team through strategic partner collaboration, regular business reporting, and operational and commercial initiatives that drive impact. Your work will contribute to the execution of joint business plans with strategic partners, helping identify expansion opportunities and increase adoption of Klarna’s products and services. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop commercial expertise in a fast-paced environment while gaining exposure to the ecommerce and payments industry. This is a hybrid position based in Klarna’s Waterloo office in London, with an expectation to work from the office 2–3 days per week, which is considered essential for collaboration, mentorship, and learning.
Who you are
- 2+ years of experience in Business Development, Account Management, Sales, or a related field
- Passionate about ecommerce, fintech, payments, or retail industries
- Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
- Commercially minded with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into clear business actions
- Positive, proactive, and comfortable collaborating across a variety of teams and stakeholders
- Based in London and motivated to learn in a collaborative, in-person environment
- Working proficiency and communication skills in verbal and written English
Awesome to have
- Experience working in a customer-facing or commercial environment
- Familiarity with CRM tools or reporting platforms
- Experience using Google Workspace products such as Sheets, Slides, and Docs
- Interest in strategic partnerships and business growth initiatives
- Experience working with AI tools including LLM-based solutions, vibe coding tools, or Cursor
