What you will do
As a Business Development Manager in London, you will be part of one of Klarna’s Partner Success Teams, focusing on growing and maximizing value from an existing book of business in the UK. You will build and execute joint business plans with strategic partners, identifying expansion opportunities and driving increased adoption of Klarna’s products and services. By working closely with internal teams across analytics, marketing, delivery, and product, you will translate data into clear actions that unlock partner growth. You will own senior stakeholder relationships, including C-level executives, and ensure consistent engagement, alignment on priorities, and measurable commercial outcomes. In a fast-paced and evolving environment, you will execute with pace and clarity, helping partners and Klarna achieve sustainable growth together.
Who you are
- 5+ years of experience in Business Development, Account Management, or Sales
- Experience managing and growing an existing portfolio of strategic accounts
- Experience in retail, payments, fintech, or ecommerce
- Proven track record of driving revenue growth within existing partnerships
- Strong ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders, including C-suite executives
- Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Commercially minded with the ability to interpret data and translate it into clear business actions
- Working proficiency in verbal and written English
Awesome to have
- Experience working with AI tools for sales, including LLM-based solutions, vibe coding tools, or Cursor
- Strong analytical skills, including advanced Excel capabilities such as pivot tables and solid understanding of P&L accounts
- Demonstrated ability to turn complex data into clear, actionable insights
- Proven ability to execute at pace in an uncertain and evolving environment
