Responsible for developing and executing communication strategies to enhance the organization’s reputation, strengthen media and stakeholder relationships, and ensure consistent, compelling messaging across all traditional and new communication channels. He or she will also be involved in crisis communication matters with the leadership group.

  • Develop and implement an integrated PR and Communications Strategy aligned with business goals determined by the leadership group, and brand positioning.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with journalists, media outlets, influencers, and key external stakeholders.
  • Responsible for the planning, drafting, and approval of press releases, media statements, speeches, Q&As, and other PR materials.
  • Prepare organisation’s spokesperson for key announcements, media interviews, and public events when required.
  • Design and develop creative PR campaigns and events to boost brand awareness, thought leadership, and positive share of voice across traditional and digital channels.
  • Monitor media coverage, public sentiment, and issues affecting the organisation, provide insights and recommendations to the leadership group.
  • Involved in issues management, response protocols, and rapid communication.
  • Coordinate closely with inhouse creative teams to ensure consistent branding and imagery across all outlets, releases and PR materials.
  • Coordinate with and manage external agencies.
  • Manage brand presence on various social media platforms (Instagram, LinkedIn, WeChat, Line).
  • Manage internal comms within the organisation.

Skills, Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field required.
  • Proven experience as a senior PR Manager, or similar senior communications role. Typically, with 7+ years in PR and at least 3-5 years in leadership.
  • Demonstrated track record in designing and delivering successful PR and media campaigns across multiple channels (print, broadcast, online, social).
  • Strong media relations experience, including handling high‑profile announcements and sensitive or complex issues.
  • Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator)
  • Microsoft Word & PowerPoint, for executive comms, presentations, and strategy decks.
  • Digital/social media tools – such as Hootsuite, Sprout Social, Buffer, HubSpot for scheduling and monitoring.
  • Use of LinkedIn, X, Facebook, Instagram, WeChat, Line.
  • Data analytics tools/platforms – such as Google Analytics, social media platform analytics, PR measurement software.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to craft clear, persuasive narratives for diverse audiences.
  • Proven people leadership skills, with experience coaching and developing teams in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Solid understanding of digital and social media, analytics tools, and how to measure the impact of PR activities.
