PLOY is a B2B SaaS platform that helps brands turn their employees into content creators, at scale, across TikTok, LinkedIn, and Instagram. Employee-generated content (EGC) is one of the fastest-growing marketing channels right now, and we're building the infrastructure that makes it work. Our clients include some of the UK's most recognisable brands: Boots, Next, Civil Service, Knight Frank, David Lloyd Clubs, Wargaming, and we're growing fast.
We're a small, ambitious founding team. Everyone here moves quickly, takes real ownership, and builds things that actually matter.
This role is a 50/50 role, and that balance is intentional. Half your time, you'll be running PLOY's own social channels and founders profiles across LinkedIn, Instagram, and TikTok. You'll own the strategy, build the content calendar, shoot and edit video, write copy, and be the creative force behind how PLOY shows up online. You'll think about content not just as a brand exercise, but as a pipeline driver, experimenting with formats and angles that bring in leads, not just likes.
The other half, you'll be embedded with our clients, helping their employees create video content that performs. That means running creator workshops, developing content briefs, coaching people on camera, and turning everyday moments inside a brand into scroll-stopping social content. You'll become a trusted extension of their marketing teams.
What you'll be doing:
- Owning PLOY's presence on LinkedIn, TikTok, and Instagram end-to-end
- Developing content strategies tied to pipeline, not just engagement metrics
- Producing original video content - filming, editing, presenting on camera
- Helping write and scale content for the founder's LinkedIn, turning ideas into a consistent posting engine
- Building an audience of marketing and comms leaders who become PLOY's buyers
- Using AI tools to accelerate content research, ideation, production, and repurposing
- Testing what works, cutting what doesn't, and iterating quickly
On the client side:
- Working directly with client teams to help employees create video content for their own channels
- Running creative sessions and content workshops with employee creators
- Developing platform-specific briefs that are actually doable for non-professional creators
- Coaching employees on how to show up authentically and effectively on platforms
- Feeding insights and feedback from client work back into PLOY's own strategy & platform
What we're looking for:
- You're already a creator, or close enough that it shows.
- You understand the difference between content that looks good and content that performs.
- You've experimented with formats, built a point of view on what works on different platforms, and you're not precious about putting yourself on camera.
- You understand how content performs on each social platform and what drives impact.
- You're genuinely forward-thinking: you follow where platforms are heading, not where they've been.
- You use AI daily as a creative multiplier, for research, ideation, scripting, editing workflows — not just for writing first drafts.
- You're a strong communicator in writing and on camera.
- You're comfortable working directly with clients and coaching people who aren't natural creators.
- You take initiative. If you see something that needs doing, you do it.
A note on the content side of this role: PLOY exists to unlock the power of employee-generated content. It would be strange if the people building that product weren't immersed in content themselves. We want to see what you've made. That might be a LinkedIn following you've been quietly building, a TikTok series you started on a whim, a YouTube channel, or a brand account you've transformed.
A note on AI fluency: We're an AI-first team. We expect everyone here to use AI as a genuine multiplier - automating the repetitive, accelerating the creative, and always thinking about what's possible next. During the hiring process, we'll want to see how you actually use AI in your content workflow.
The details:
- Full-time, permanent
- £32,000–£40,000
- London - 1–2 days a week in office
- Founding team - real ownership and equity on the table
- Direct line to the founders
Ready to apply? Your CV is the least important thing we'll look at. We need to see the following:
- Content you've created - links to anything you've made, written or filmed.
- How you use AI - a workflow, a tool you've built, a process you've automated for content creation or distribution.
- A short video from you - record something on your phone telling us who you are, why PLOY, and how you'd approach the role.
