We’re looking for a Junior Surveyor to join our Digital Construction Property team, supporting projects in London and across the UK. You’ll work alongside experienced surveyors on a wide range of projects. You’ll help collect, process and manage survey data while developing your knowledge of traditional survey methods and new technology. This is an opportunity to build the practical skills needed for a career in surveying.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Assist with survey data collection on site and processing back in the office.
  • Work with Lead Surveyors to learn survey methods, instruments and project workflows.
  • Help manage project data from collection through to final delivery.
  • Follow project specifications and company standards for quality and health and safety.
  • Keep Project Managers updated on progress, deadlines and any issues.
  • Communicate with clients on site when needed, keeping the project team informed.
  • Travel to project sites and occasionally work nights or stay away from home.

What We’re Looking For

  • Some surveying experience or a relevant qualification in surveying, geospatial studies or civil engineering.
  • A genuine interest in building a career as a surveyor and learning new skills.
  • Strong communication, organisation and problem-solving skills.
  • Confidence using IT applications and working with technical data.
  • Flexibility to travel and occasionally work nights or stay away from home.
  • A UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle.
  • An interest in measured building, topographical, rail or monitoring surveys would be beneficial.
  • Experience with laser scanning, data processing or AutoCAD, or a CSCS card, PTS or similar site clearance, would be an advantage.
