We are looking for a Major Bids & Frameworks Manager to strengthen our approach to complex procurement opportunities, major tenders and strategic frameworks. This is a high visibility role within the Business Development team, focused on improving bid competitiveness and increasing win rates.

Role Purpose

  • Lead strategy for high value bids, tenders and procurement led opportunities
  • Strengthen positioning across frameworks and strategic procurement routes
  • Coordinate cross functional teams to deliver competitive submissions
  • Provide commercial insight and capture planning to improve win rates
  • Support Business Development teams with early opportunity positioning

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and delivery of major bids and complex tenders
  • Define clear bid strategies aligned to client priorities and evaluation criteria
  • Coordinate technical, commercial and operational inputs across teams
  • Identify upcoming procurement routes and framework opportunities
  • Support early engagement strategies with Business Development Managers
  • Shape pricing strategies and commercial positioning with finance teams
  • Identify and manage contractual, commercial and delivery risks within bids
  • Maintain a pipeline of major opportunities and frameworks
  • Lead post bid reviews to improve future performance
  • Maintain bid resources including case studies, templates and knowledge libraries

About You

  • Experience leading high value bids and complex tenders
  • Strong understanding of procurement led sales environments
  • Experience within construction, infrastructure, engineering, property or geospatial sectors
  • Strong commercial awareness including pricing and risk management
  • Experience coordinating cross functional teams during bid processes
  • Strong strategic thinking and commercial judgement
  • Excellent organisational and project leadership skills
  • Confident engaging with senior stakeholders and technical specialists
  • Analytical mindset focused on improving win rates and performance
  • Proactive and ownership driven approach to opportunity pursuit
  • Ability to manage multiple bids and priorities simultaneously
