The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.
We are now looking for a Finance and Operations Manager to assist our Head of Finance and Senior Operations Manager.
You will have experience of working in an operations and/or finance function and be able deliver creative solutions with a focus on continual service improvement. You will be literate across a number of cloud platforms and be a self-starter with initiative.
The role is remote, although we do come together in transport hubs around the UK at least once a quarter.
Duties

Monitoring financial accounts inbox and ensuring invoices are approved in line with our policies.

Assisting in reviewing financial performance during the monthly reporting cycle.

Collaborating and consulting across teams to create and smoothly implement change.

Extracting patent information for cost modelling through various databases.

Assisting the Head of Finance in year-end audit preparation.

Provide operational support to our clients, customers and nascent spin-outs

Setting up payments via internet banking.

Acting as systems admin for Microsoft 365, CRM solutions and other platforms

Routine invoicing of customers in line with agreed contracts.

Administration of external client and customer contracts and post-deal management, including our rewards to inventors (RTI) scheme.

Prior experience in an operations and/or finance role.

Is financially literate.

Ability to triage operational issues as first line support.

Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
Desirable Experience

Experience working in a government or NHS environment.

Familiar with automated solutions using Power Automate.
