We’re looking for 2 GIS Technicians to join our Operations team. Reporting to the Senior GIS Technician, you’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality mapping outputs that meet customer needs while helping drive continuous improvement and innovation across our products. This role is best suited to someone who can work independently, apply best-practice GIS methods and tools, and collaborate effectively with colleagues across the business.
What You Will Do
- Creating Cemetery Specs from Google MyMaps
- Tabulating Cemetery Specs on Google Spreadsheets
- Creation of georeferenced aerial mosaics
- Using Photoshop to alter TIFFs, PNGs and JPEGs
- Creating webmaps through the use of ArcMap, ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Online
- Champion product consistency and support implementation of product standards
- Continuous innovation to improve current product capabilities
- General assistance to wider mapping team effort
What We Are Looking For
- Degree in a GIS related subject or equivalent experience
- Experience using:
- Photoshop
- ArcMap
- ArcGIS Pro
- AutoCAD
- G Suite (mail, drive, Hangouts, docs) or Microsoft Office
- Google MyMaps
