PLK Communities is an owner and manager of residential apartment communities. Currently, we are in search of a full-time Lead Maintenance Technician.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Hands-on Leader
- Maintain Physical Integrity and Safety of Community
- Anticipate, identify and correct any and all problems
- Perform any and all property maintenance needs
- Maintenance of the property grounds and common areas
- HVAC service and repair (willing to train)
- Prepare apartments for new residents
- Complete Work Orders
- Ensure proper removal and disposal of trash
- Provides leadership, guidance, and development for community Maintenance team

Requirements
- 3 - 5 years multi-family/apartment maintenance experience
- Supervisory/Lead experience
- Basic carpentry
- Plumbing
- Electrical and mechanical systems
- Valid driver's license
- Reliable transportation
- Tools (hammer, screwdrivers, channel locks, multi meter, Allen wrenches, pliers, knife, flashlight)
- Able to respond to afterhours emergency calls as part of an on-call rotation
