Plexus is seeking a Senior Quality Engineer to become the critical force in driving quality excellence for our complex manufacturing and engineering operations. This role is a key leadership position that places you at the intersection of technical quality standards and high-level customer interaction, offering unique exposure across aerospace, medical, and industrial sectors. You will be responsible for working across various Quality Management Systems (ISO 9001, ISO 13485, and AS9100), giving you the opportunity to broaden your expertise and technical perspective, supporting operations at both our Kelso and Livingston sites. Key AccountabilitiesAs a Senior Quality Engineer, you will be the department technical lead for New Product Introduction, while also developing and deploying strategic initiatives to elevate the site's Quality Maturity. Build quality into new products from the outset by collaborating with other functional teams and customers to introduce new products. Drive Proactive Quality: Lead and drive quality excellence to ensure process capability meets or exceeds manufacturing requirements and standards. Quality Leadership: Provide technical training, leadership, guidance, and direction to team members and stakeholders, in support of the site's Quality Management team. Provide support and leadership in order to effectively design, develop, monitor, maintain, and continuously improve the quality management system in alignment with Plexus strategies and values to ensure services are capable of meeting business needs. Master Stakeholder Interaction: Effectively communicate functional and organizational goals and quality concerns, while being comfortable and capable of managing difficult conversations with both internal teams and customers. We are looking for a quality-minded leader who is ready to grow. While a background in electronics is a plus, it is not a dealbreaker. We are explicitly expanding our search beyond traditional Quality titles and encourage applications from manufacturing, process, or other engineering backgrounds. Experience introducing and qualifying new products to volume manufacturing through the use of a structured framework such as Advanced Product Quality Planning. Technical Foundation: Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 4 years' related experience, with a solid technical level of knowledge to develop and advise the team.
