Purpose Statement: The Supervisor of Quality is responsible for providing effective leadership and management of the assigned Quality and/or Supplier Quality process, goods and services in accordance with the quality, delivery and pricing, costing, or expense expectations to meet department and company objectives.

Key Job Accountabilities:

  • Effectively communicate functional and organizational goals, quality issues or concerns with Quality personnel to ensure customer expectations are met. Follow proper escalation process when necessary.
  • Lead and drive quality excellence by partnering with various functional leads to ensure quality capability that meets or exceeds manufacturing requirements and standards in order to deliver quality products.
  • Responsible to exemplify and hold their team accountable to demonstrating the Plexus Core Values. Leader will focus on evaluating potential, driving succession planning, and ensuring their employees receive the development and coaching required to realize their full potential.
  • Ensure individuals are trained to all applicable Specific Function Training (SFT) requirements as well as have the ability to oversee schedules to meet customer needs based on training and skillsets.
  • Monitor and report quality performance to ensure applicable actions are acted on and implemented when required.

Education/Experience Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 3 years of experience in the related field.
  • A combination of education, experience, and time in field will be taken into consideration, and internal candidates may have distinct requirements tailored to their demonstrated skills and contributions within the organization.

Other Qualifications:

  • Operate as a team leader, coordinate staff scheduling.
  • Advanced decision making and problem solving skills.
  • Knowledge of PCBA and HLA product builds.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Demonstrate ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Intermediate computer skills including the Microsoft Office Suite or Google Workspace.
  • Intermediate data analysis and presentation skills.

Physical Requirements:

Role will support operational teams in a manufacturing environment with required personal protective equipment. Facilities include comfortable temperatures, repetitive low noise level and suitable lighting for required tasks. May require walking, standing and sitting, using a computer, and other office equipment. Direct interaction with people and equipment is event driven and will include activities related to inspecting, qualifying, troubleshooting and improving jigs, fixtures, and manufacturing methods using different types of components or material. Role may require working individually on tasks with a prolonged focus on written material, working collectively as part of a team of various disciplines and backgrounds and working in multiple software systems.

Travel Requirements: Less than 40%.
