We are seeking a high-caliber leader for a pivotal Trade Compliance & Logistics Manager role with comprehensive regional responsibility across EMEA. This position offers a distinct blend of strategic vision, operational execution, and team leadership.**The Role & Long-Term Trajectory**This position is structured for someone who wants to deeply embed themselves in a regional operation, drive sustainable value over time, and grow naturally with the organization.You will lead the EMEA trade compliance and logistics strategy, optimize site operations, manage key service providers, and develop a high-performing regional team.**Key Responsibilities****1. Strategic Leadership & Business Partnership*** **Define Regional Strategy:** Craft long-term, scalable, and sustainable trade and logistics strategies aligned with overall business growth and efficiency objectives.* **Stakeholder Communication:** Maintain seamless communication with site, regional, and global leadership regarding compliance initiatives, priorities, and performance.* **Customer Solutions:** Differentiate our service offering by designing tailored international trade and logistics solutions that add value for key clients.**2. Operational Execution & Continuous Improvement*** **Program Oversight:** Manage EMEA-wide import/export compliance execution, duty/freight expense management, and the selection, coordination, and negotiation with brokers and carriers.* **Process Optimization:** Lead cross-functional process improvements and automation projects to move products in a more cost-effective, efficient, and compliant manner.* **Metrics & Governance:** Establish and maintain a system of metrics and targets to measure regional performance, utilizing targeted site audits to close operational gaps.**3. Risk Management & Regulatory Governance*** **Risk Mitigation:** Develop and implement a comprehensive risk management strategy to identify, assess, and mitigate potential trade compliance and logistics vulnerabilities across EMEA.* **Regulatory Advisory:** Monitor and communicate shifting export/import compliance regulations across the complex EMEA landscape, serving as the voice of local operations to Corporate Trade Compliance.* **Agency Interface:** Act as the primary interface with government agencies for resolutions and lead investigations regarding potential compliance violations.**4. People Leadership & Organizational Design*** **Team Development:** Champion a "Best People" strategy by coaching, mentoring, and evaluating the potential of your direct reports to help them realize their full potential.* **Organizational Design:** Structure and scale the regional trade compliance and logistics teams to ensure the organization is optimally designed to support business requirements.**Qualifications & Profile*** **Experience:** Bachelor’s degree preferred, combined with 5+ years of progressive experience in trade compliance, customs, and international logistics.
