This role can be based in Kelso or Livingston however the first year of the programme is based in Kelso.

Purpose Statement

The role holder will complete their education by a combination of weekly college/university release and structured on-the-job training, and are expected to achieve the appropriate qualification within the duration of the programme.

Key Job Accountabilities

  • Competent in required job knowledge and skills to perform assigned tasks.
  • Able to apply new work requirements with minimal supervision.
  • Is up-to-date on all certifications and training requirements for role.
  • Consistently completes assignments or work requirements on time without compromising on quality.
  • Uses time effectively to manage workload/tasks.

Additional Accountabilities

  • Supporting manufacturing operations as required.
  • Ongoing demonstration of competence evidenced in Individual Learning Agreement or learning provider assessments.
  • Ongoing demonstration of Plexus’ Non-Negotiables.
  • Achievement of Apprenticeship milestones.
  • Additional duties as assigned.

Education/Experience Qualifications

Meets minimum entry requirements for the relevant course programme.

Other Qualifications

An aptitude for learning and the ability to work as part of a team is essential.

Physical Requirements

The work setting should consist of a manufacturing environment with suitable lighting, comfortable temperatures, and a moderate noise level.
