Role
Are you a skilled Engineer looking to take ownership of complex manufacturing processes and drive technical excellence? We are seeking a dynamic Manufacturing Product Engineer to join our team in Kelso. You will bridge the gap between customer, design and production, and will be responsible for implementing lean manufacturing solutions across printed circuit board and mechanical assemblies, maintaining customer documentation, managing engineering change orders, and validating processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process Optimization: Design, analyze and optimize new and existing manufacturing processes to hit strict quality, delivery and cost targets.
  • Customer‑Centric Solutions: Develop high‑quality, cost‑effective manufacturing solutions that precisely align with customer requirements.
  • Technical Ownership: Act as an independent subject‑matter expert for core manufacturing phases and manage technical communication for assigned products.
  • Documentation & Compliance: Produce comprehensive project and change‑management documentation in strict accordance with customer and quality guidelines.

What We’re Looking For

  • Minimum of a HNC or Bachelor’s degree in a science or engineering discipline.
  • At least three years of hands‑on engineering experience in manufacturing.
  • Alternative: We value practical expertise—an equivalent combination of education and proven, relevant experience is also welcome.

Skills & Knowledge

  • Strong analytical mindset with experience in statistical analysis and problem solving (root cause analysis, 8D, continuous improvement).
  • Hands‑on capability: Experience in PCBA manufacturing, electro‑mechanical assembly, failure mode effect analysis (FMEA) and automation is highly preferred.
  • Engineering mindset: Solid understanding of product structure, bill of material and assembly drawing analysis, change management and cross‑discipline engineering knowledge.
  • Soft skills: Strong problem‑solving abilities, intermediate computer literacy and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Collaboration: Proactive team player with a proven ability to build strong working relationships with internal colleagues and external customers.
