The Director – NPI is a brand new, strategic role designed to elevate our NPI capabilities across the EMEA region. You\’ll be instrumental in shaping how we introduce new products, ensuring our customers and business units are set up for unparalleled success.
Imagine this: You\’ll be the architect of NPI excellence, working closely with customer management, business development, and site operations to accelerate product launches. Your expertise will be vital in coordinating global and cross-functional teams, transforming challenges into triumphs, and consistently pushing the boundaries of what\’s possible.
What You\’ll Do
- Define and Implement Best Practices: Capture lessons learned, standardize processes, establish key metrics, and continuously improve our NPI capabilities to ensure repeatable success.
- Lead Cross-Functional Collaboration: Build strong relationships across all Plexus functions, securing buy-in and aligning resources to flawlessly execute NPIs for both new and existing customers.
- Facilitate Clear Communication: Ensure transparency and alignment with internal teams and customers regarding key metrics, including revenue, cost, delivery, and quality.
- Drive High-Priority NPIs: Establish and lead dedicated cross-functional NPI teams for our most critical customers, finding innovative ways to shorten timelines and ensure successful launches.
- Develop and Inspire Talent: Champion Plexus\’s Core Values, focusing on succession planning, coaching, and developing your team to reach their full potential.
Who We\’re Looking For
You\’re an experienced leader with a proven track record in manufacturing, especially within the EMS (Electronics Manufacturing Services) sector. You\’re a strategic thinker with the ability to influence and inspire, even without direct authority.
Education & Experience
- A Bachelor\’s degree with a minimum of 10 years of related experience, or a Master\’s degree with 5-7 years of related experience.
- At least 5 years of experience in a management role is required. Preference for a Master\’s degree or being in pursuit of one.
- 15+ years in Manufacturing, with at least 5 years in EMS.
- Prior experience in a customer-facing role.
- Formal Site, Operations, and/or Functional leadership experience.
- Project Management certification is preferred,
