We are looking for a senior Software Engineer to support the development of automated reliability and characterisation test systems for MicroLED devices. The role combines test software development, instrument control, and data analysis, supporting both the execution of reliability campaigns and the analysis of device performance and degradation. The engineer will work closely with hardware engineers and test engineers to develop software tools that control laboratory equipment, automate test procedures, and analyse large datasets generated during device testing.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain automated test software for reliability and characterisation systems.
- Interface with laboratory instruments and test hardware using LabVIEW, C++, and Python.
- Support the execution of device reliability campaigns and engineering experiments.
- Develop tools for data collection, processing, and analysis.
- Work with engineering teams to interpret results and identify device behaviour trends.
- Contribute to improving the automation and robustness of internal test platforms.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Master’s degree in Physics, Electronic Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Proficiency in LabVIEW and C++.
- Working knowledge of Python for data processing and analysis.
- Hands‑on experience with communication protocols such as SPI and I²C.
- Experience working with laboratory bench instruments such as power supply units, oscilloscopes, pattern generators and multimeters.
- Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
